It has been a while since I've blogged. Karl and I celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary in Nachitoches, LA this past December. The weather was beautiful. We stayed at the Queen Anne B&B and walked to the festival/downtown area each day. We toured the Oakland Plantation while we were there. We really enjoyed just being together, holding hands while we strolled along the river. The Lord has blessed me with such a loving man and happy marriage.
Good News y'all, my daughter, Janet and her family moved to Lumberton a few months ago. It's been amazing having them so close. We've gotten together every Sunday to watch football, eat and hang out. We really enjoy getting to see our grandkids more. Logan has become my hang out buddy, going to church with me and spending weekends watching movies. We are so excited to be able to spend more time with them.
We are making plans to build an outdoor kitchen. The plans are being drawn up right now!!! We are very excited about this project. Hopefully we'll make it through all the decisions without killing each other LOL. We have needed this for such a long time. We will be able to close it up in the winter to utilize the space for Thanksgiving and Christmas too. I can't wait....party at the Hunter house, y'all!!!!
